The site fated for the return of the Khan has been found. The prophecy deciphered. The time has come for the Finale.
The Final Battle will be fought between the Imperium of Mankind, the Cults of Chaos, and the Tyranids. Each Coalition must nominate a player to fight this battle or forfeit their place in it.
This is not to say that other players of the campaign will have nothing to do. At the same time as the Final Battle, you may play Support Missions. Battles that will affect the Final Battle, and influence the ultimate outcome of the campaign!
The finale will begin at Outland Grensen at March 26th, 12:00. You can find all the rules for the Finale here.
The White Scars' great Khan of Khans return is imminent, or so the prophecy says. However, there are those who would seek to thwart his return. Perhaps you are among them? Can you decipher the prophecy and find the primarch first?
The Great Khan Hunt is a 40k Narrative Campaign in which you join one of a few Coalitions.
Together with the other players of your Coalition you will explore a map of Corusil V, trying to achieve your Coalition's objective.
You'll be able to claim land, build defences, find clues for Jaghatai Khan's return, and, where armies cross paths, fight.
Additionally, crusade rules are used to allow your forces to gain experience and become stronger or more scarred. While this crusade is primarily intended to be played at Outland Oslo, you may play anywhere you and your opponent see fit, as long as you report to the Campaign Master.
You can download the rules here
Hive-fleet Prometheus and the Companions of the Adeptus Custodes arrived at site E10.5, having learned this is the site where the Khan is prophesized to return. The Cults of Chaos did not arrive at the site, but instead attacked the lunar artillery on Corusil V's moon, Indigo Hawk, hoping to bombard the Custodes, and stop the Khan's return. The Cadian 52nd Armoured Regiment was already there, planning on aiding the Imperium.
For 10 millenia, Jaghatai Khan has been held captive by the Drukhari, tortured, experimented on, until the awakening of his psychic potential created an opening for his escape. He carved himself out of the Webway, in a confused and frantic state, not sure if anything he saw was real.
He emerged right in front of the Custodes and Sisters of Silence, and ran from the presence of the pariahs. He ran towards monsters he had never seen before, but he saw his Void-bike! A unique jet-bike from the Horus Heresy capable of extra-planetary flight. His way out of here. In his wild state he carved his way through custodes to get off this planet, not realising they didn't fight back. Only while beset by huge monstrosities did he heed the Companions words, that they were here to get him off the planet, to protect him.
Finally, the traitor marines of the Awoken Challice wrestled control of the Lunar Artillery, but too late. The Cadians had stalled them just long enough that they lost their window.
The Companions escorted the returning primarch off Corusil V, even as a rift in real-space appeared, and the world was sucked into the warp. The Imperium has another loyalist primarch, and in these days they could sure use a hero from the days of yore. But can they trust him? What did the dark eldar do to him? Has he truly returned to his senses? Even if he was in a stable state of mind, are his psychic powers safe? Can the White Scars expect their khan of khans to arrive at Chogoris, or will he be taken upon a black ship back to holy Terra?

Thank you for participating in my first narrative 40k campaign! It was a lot more work to do on my own than I anticipated, but it was a lot of fun! I already have more ideas for future campaigns (yes, plural), and how to arrange them so that others can work on them without spoiling the campaign.
But for now, I will need a much-needed break before I start working on another campaign. I will leave this webpage up, so others may look at the rules, either to run their own Great Khan Hunt, or take inspiration for their own campaigns. I do however not consent to anything I've made being used to train or prompt AI.
Also, I've replaced the map with an animated gif that shows how the map changed over the course of the campaign.!
