Prepared Positions

With the wide-spread wars of Corusil V, it is not hard to find fortified positions if you know where to look.

Until the start of the second battle round, each time a ranged attack targets a unit from your Crusade army, if that unit is wholly within your deployment zone, it has the Benefits of Cover against that attack.

High Strategy

A larger army's monolithic manoeuvres, chattering streams of vox traffic or the disturbance made to the warp by its deployment gifts a more compact force enough advance warning to lay their plans against them.

You start the battle with 2 CP.

Schemes Unknown

On such a chaotic battlefront, a commander must be canny to achieve victory, and lay plans beyond the ken of the enemy.

You can select one additional Agenda for this battle.

Stand Defiant

Standing against a more experienced foe is a dangerous place to be. Yet if you can still stand afterwards, it is an invaluable experience.

At the end of the battle, every unit from your Crusade army that is not destroyed gains 1XP.

Readied Engines

On such battlefields where speed is of the essence, commanders would be wise to instruct riders and gun-crews to warm up their engines and be prepared for action.

During the first battle round, add 1” to the Move characteristics of MOUNTED and VEHICLE units from your Crusade Army.

No Rest

By keeping the marching force ready to swiftly be underway again, a Commander can endeavour to fully exploit an enemy's defeat.

If you win, in the Resolve Conflict step, you can pick an additional Aftermath Action to be taken after the first one.

Hold The Line

Sometimes the only order soldiers need is to hold the line, no matter the cost.

Once per game, you can use the Fire Overwatch stratagem for 0CP, even if you have already used the Fire Overwatch stratagem earlier this phase.

For The Primarch

The Imperium is not lacking in soldiers who seek the glory of finding a lost primarch. Commanders would be wise to make use of this enthusiasm.

You can only select this Crusade Blessing if you're part of the Imperium of Mankind Coalition.

Once per battle, at the start of your Command phase, you can use this Crusade Blessing. Select one unit from your Crusade Army, until the start of your next Command Phase, add 2 to the Objective Control characteristics of that unit.

Children Of The Warp

With the increased presence of the Warp, the arcane prowess of the forces of chaos is even more dangerous.

You can only select this Crusade Blessing if you're part of the Cults of Chaos.

Once per round, you can Re-roll a damage roll.

Reactive Positioning

Between skimmer vehicles and the Webway, crafty xenos are quick to find ways to reach difficult, but strategic positions.

You can only select this Crusade Blessing if you're part of the Xenos Alliance.

At the start of the first battle round, select up to 2 units from your Crusade army. Each of those units has the Scouts 6” ability for this battle. For this scout move those units are treated as having the FLY keyword.

Destructive Lessons

For some commanders, only one thing is of interest. To watch worlds burn, dissolve in digestive acids, or otherwise be laid barren. Their warriors are quick to learn how this is accomplished.

You can only select this Crusade Blessing if you're part of the Forces of Destruction.

At the end of the battle, each unit from your Crusade army that destroyed at least one enemy unit gains 1XP.
