Corusil Cascade - Epic Deed Stratagem
An unexpected twist. This champion's true power is revealed!
WHEN: At the end of your Command phase.
TARGET: One unit from your army that is not Battle-shocked.
EFFECT: You may immediately purchase a requisition that alters the unit's Crusade card, such as changing its wargear or replacing the datasheet it uses. When you do, you do so as if the battle immediately ended when you used the stratagem before resuming the battle. You may spend the RP you gain for playing this battle for this Requisition, but you will not gain it again when the battle legitimately ends. You may also choose to treat the unit as having failed an Out of Action test. You may simultaneously purchase requisitions that are purchased when you add a unit to your Crusade force.
RESTRICTIONS: Your opponent must agree this transformation can be narratively explained. Your unit must have the same number of Wounds missing, to the minimum of 1 wound remaining, and retains the Warlord keyword if it had it, but is otherwise treated as a new unit. Any additional units created from the requisition must be set up as close as possible to the original unit, but not within 1” of any enemy models.
Editor's note: Guerdsmen could feasibly find different weapons on the battlefield, but unless there's an Apothecary, Techmarine, and a recently slain Dreadnaught it's hard to justify a space marine becoming a new Dreadnaught in the middle of the battle.

Corusil Cascade - Epic Deed Stratagem
Up close, the smallest soldier can find the gap in the largest defences
WHEN: In the Shooting or Fight phase when declaring a Monster or Vehicle the target for the attacks of a unit from your army that is within 6” of it and is not a Monster or Vehicle.
TARGET: One weapon equipped by a model in that unit.
EFFECT: Instead of attacking normally with that weapon, make 8 hit rolls with it, but do not roll to wound. For each attack that hit, the target takes a mortal wound. All of these mortal wounds must be inflicted on the same model.
RESTRICTIONS: You may not use this stratagem to inflict mortal wounds on the same unit more than once.

Corusil Cascade - Epic Deed Stratagem
A moment of bravery to stand against the odds. Sometimes it's all you need. Sometimes it's all you can do.
WHEN: In your Shooting phase of the 4th or 5th battle round.
TARGET: One objective marker you control.
EFFECT: Until the start of your next Command phase, or the end of the battle (whichever comes first), all friendly units within range of that objective marker has the Feel No Pain 4+ ability, all their ranged weapons gain [Rapid Fire 3], and all their weapons gain [Sustained hits 2], [Lethal hits] [Devastating wounds], and [Hazardous].
RESTRICTIONS: You can only use this stratagem if you only control one objective marker and your opponent controls more than you.

Corusil Cascade - Epic Deed Stratagem
It is the nature of battlefield operations that sometimes one must be protected by one's brothers at arms to accomplish critical tasks.
WHEN: A Battleline unit from your army begins an action.
TARGET: That unit.
EFFECT: It is still eligible to shoot in this shooting phase, but only up to half of the models in the unit may make ranged attacks. The models that do not make ranged attacks must still meet the requirements for the action as if they were a separate unit.
RESTRICTIONS: Your unit cannot be below half-strength and cannot perform another action at the same time.
